ANDY BRIGHT: PROJECT MANAGER (INTENSIVE SUPPORT)
I am currently a Project Manager within Brandon Trust. My journey began when I joined an NHS Trust as a Day Care worker. This was at a time when the institutions in Bristol were closing, I had no experience in the field and momentum was building towards community inclusion. Since then I have managed and co-ordinated community day services and found myself involved more and more with people with a difficult set of circumstances or who present 'challenging behaviour'. I went on to manage a Person Centered Planning project in B&NES and am now managing a project that involves the re provision of support for people who were living within the NHS Retained services.
What's important to me? That people receive relationship led support that reflects who they are, married with the commitment of those around them to ensure their well being and future aspirations.
