LUCY HURST-BROWN: CHIEF EXECUTIVE
I am the Chief Executive of Brandon Trust. I initially qualified and worked for some time as a speech and language therapist with people with learning disabilities. I then moved on to management, business development, training and planning roles in the NHS, Local Authorities and the Voluntary Sector. Before joining Brandon Trust I was Chief Executive of a Learning Disability Charity in London for six years.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- Employment experience in Local Authority, NHS and Voluntary Sector
- 10 Years working in strategic roles a as Senior Manager in Voluntary Sector (6 years as CEO)
- Extensive experience of tendering, hospital closures, service transfers and externalisations
- Extensive experience of service reconfigurations and developments
- Extensive experience of leadership and line management within residential, supported living and day services for people with learning disabilities
- 20 Years experience working within the Learning Disability Sector.
