BADGER HOUSE PROJECT
ABOUT THE BADGER HOUSE PROJECT The Badger House project was set up to enable students to have a pathway to employment through a hands on experience of catering. |
Five students, together with the tutor and support worker produce sandwiches and salads on a daily basis. The students are supported to sell their produce to the public at a variety of Sites including Partnership House and Originally at Badger House.
This year we are supporting our students to continue learning through practical work as well as giving the students an opportunity to gain further knowledge and experience of catering through education. The students are working towards gaining a catering NPTC qualification which sits along side and reinforces all the skills that they are learning.

Elke Vanwirdum
“I ENJOY IT ALL; I WAS FED UP AT THE CENTER BECAUSE I WAS THERE FOR 35 YEARS AND I PREFER DOING THIS. THERE IS LOTS TO DO”
