THE PARK CAFE

The Park Cafe is a working cafe with teaching facilities, designed to support people to gain a qualification in catering and retail. The cafe also provide catering for functions.

Based at the Park Centre, High Street in Kingswood, the cafe is open to the public as well as catering for many corporate and public meetings & training events that take place there.

Over the past two years the Cafe has successfully delivered NPTC catering and retail qualifications that have enabled some students to move on to paid employment. Other students have stayed on to progress and start our new qualification, a City and Guilds NVQ1 in Hospitality and Catering.

Margaret, one student who successfully found work in a Kitchen at a care home for the elderly said on hearing she had got the job: "I'm so happy, I can't stop smiling. This is the best day of my life."
