The highlight of the award was the camping trip to Goblin Combe.
Although several of the students were very apprehensive about the camping having never done this before, after the practise run were very keen and enthusiastic to do it again. Great fun was had by all.
The students were brilliant at all the tasks they had to achieve and worked really well as a team helping each other and pulling together.
In September of this year they all went to a Presentation at the Winter Gardens to collect their Certificates.
Laura said "I really enjoyed doing the Duke of Edinburgh Award, the camping was a bit scary at first but it was really good fun."
