- Offer hands on training and the opportunity to gain accredited qualifications.
- Provide a high quality service to commercial customers.
- Develop Social Enterprises and Social Firms.
- Support people into open employment.
These are our services:
FIRED UP
Fired up provides credited vocational training, work experience and job coaching to people wishing to enter employment. The studio also produces and markets a range of high quality ceramic products for retail outlets and to commission. Fired Up also offers weekly hobby classes, ceramic seminars, workshops and training days open to all members of the local community.
GROUNDS AND GARDENS - BRISTOL
This is a mobile gardening service operating in and around Bristol; Grounds and Gardens' services range from landscaping to garden maintenance. The team has a wide range of horticultural experience gained from the commercial sector and delivers contract work for a wide range of customers, from local charities, small businesses and private homes. As an emerging social firm we employ 14 people with learning disabilities.
GROUNDS AND GARDENS - WESTON-SUPER-MARE
Grounds and Gardens (Weston) is part of a mobile gardening service which operates across the West of England. The Weston Team provide garden maintenance and landscaping in North Somerset, whilst running a successful horticultural unit producing plants and vegetables.
ENTERPRISE SERVICES - PUCKLECHURCH
Enterprise Services provides a flexible printing, packaging and assembly service on behalf of the UK Transplant Service. It also offers a printing and finishing service. In addition Enterprise offers vocational training, work experience and job coaching to people wishing to enter employment.
ELM TREE FARM - BRISTOL
Elm Tree Farm provides training in horticulture and animal husbandry on a 35 acre farm site in Stapleton. The activities are largely horticultural and people training at the farm grow a wide range of fruit, flowers and vegetables which are then sold on the farm and at a local farmers' market.
SPLINTERS - BRISTOL
Based in the grounds of Elm Tree Farm, Splinters designs and manufactures a wide range of wooden products. The fully equipped workshop provides a unique opportunity for people who are interested in working with wood or entering employment.
THE GREENFIELD CENTRE
A horticultural unit based on a community farm, the Greenfields Centre provides a service for older people. Activities involve potting seedlings and growing plants and vegetables that are sold to the local community.
R WOOD - WESTON-SUPER-MARE
R Wood is a large carpentry workshop and machine shop that produces a wide range of wooden products. The well equipped workshop provides an excellent opportunity for people who are interested in learning about working with wood or interested in developing work skills.
THE OLD MALTHOUSE POTTERY
Based in Banwell, North Somerset, the pottery offers vocational training, work experience, and job coaching to people wishing to enter employment. The pottery produces a range of high quality tiles which are handmade in earthenware clay using traditional methods. The tiles are based on the designed of people using the service or designed to commission.
