Sponsorship

Brandon Trust receives specific funding to provide individualised services for people with learning disabilities. We also need to develop new imaginative projects, outside of our regular contractual funding. This can only happen if we generate additional income through sponsorship. Here is an example:

Brandon’s Elm Tree Farm in Stapleton provides a fabulous work/training environment for people with learning disabilities. Wates Construction, a family run national firm, with a strong ethos of working with social enterprises, got involved. Wates’ staff and sub contractors gave up their free time to undertake a range of jobs, including laying a new path along the side of the hen houses; constructed a suspended ceiling and painted a converted potting shed to allow chicks to be raised on the farm and installed a new animal feed storage area.

Sponsorship is mutually beneficial; an opportunity for your organisation to share in the spotlight of profile raising activities with a progressive charity. Through financial and practical sponsorship we are able to embrace the needs of people with learning disabilities more fully, ensuring they have the opportunities to live the lives they choose.
