Once new staff have completed their initial induction training they also undertake the following modules from the Learning Disability Award Framework (accredited with City & Guilds):
- 001 Safe Practitioner
- 002 Learning Disability
- 003 Positive Communication
- 004 Understanding Abuse
These Certificates link up with the rest of your induction training - meeting the Skills for Care Induction Standards.
If you do not already have an NVQ then we are a City & Guilds assessment centre and are accredited to offer L2 and 3 in Health & Social Care (Level 4 Health & Social Care and Management Qualifications including the Registered Mangers Award will be available Via our centre early 2007) NVQ Assessor and Verifier Training and Qualifications.
