Speculation about Brandon Trust starting new services have been around for a number of years now. We are pleased to announce that after a lot of careful work with our colleagues in the Devon Partnership Trust and Devon County Council; Brandon Trust will be supporting twelve people with learning disabilities in the Exeter, Exmouth and Honiton areas of Devon from January 2011. We believe we will be able to offer these individuals the kind of support that will enable them over time, to increase their independence and inclusion within their local communities. Staff members from Brandon’s Virtual Team and from our North Somerset Team are already working alongside the current staff to ensure a smooth transition for the new services. This is a very exciting prospect for Brandon Trust and we hope to work with people in Devon to develop further opportunities in the near future.
