    Overview

    vacancy ref 4008This property is located in Westbury-on-Trym, close to Canford Park which has large open spaces and a café.

    Three gentlemen currently live here and they are looking for a fourth person to share with. The men are aged mid-fifties and upwards. Previously, the property was mixed gender and the gentlemen have said they would welcome a lady of similar mature years.

    They enjoy many activities, including television and films, especially old movies and cowboy/war films, music, shopping, eating out, gardening, cooking, and some sport including football and Formula 1.

    The three gentlemen who currently live at the property, enjoy being supported individually, and at times, as a group. One person attends a day service twice a week the other two gentlemen are retired.

    The tenants all have individual 1-to-1 support hours which are timetabled (but flexible).

    The tenants are supported to maintain their home and keep it clean and tidy, and they all like to be involved with cooking and some light gardening.

    One gentleman has a severe visual impairment, and prefers where possible, that things aren't moved to different locations. He uses his memory to move about the house safely.

    The men would not like to live with anyone who smokes or is loud, noisy or aggressive, especially at night time.

    The vacant bedroom is on the first floor. There is a shared bathroom which has a toilet, sink, and a bath with shower. There is also a walk-in shower/wet room on the ground floor.

    Apart from individual bedrooms, all other rooms are shared. There is a kitchen with all cooking facilities, a large lounge/diner with TV/DVD/video (and Amazon Firestick), and comfy sofas and armchairs.

    The lounge has patio doors with three steps leading down to the garden area which has a patio and decking area with table and chairs and a small lawn area. There is also access to the back garden from the kitchen.

    The house has a small driveway at the front.
