Wellbeing and work-life balance
We offer paid holidays of at least 28 days per year including bank holidays. Employees on the Choices contract have the option of 'buying' additional annual leave under the Choices Flexible Benefits Scheme.
Our frontline roles involve working flexible shifts. We understand different people have different lifestyles and commitments and we'll be as responsive as we can to each person's circumstances.
As well as offering full-time, part-time, and casual contracts, some roles are also available on weekend-only contracts or 'out of term-time' contracts - perfect for students looking for holiday jobs.
Everyone has personal commitments outside of work and we'll look to help you with any difficulties you may have, for example, your manager may be able to grant 'extraordinary leave'.

If health issues affect you at work, we offer medical advice and support through our Occupational Health Service. From Autumn 2016, you'll have 24-hour phone access to GPs, and can arrange for any medication they prescribe to be posted direct to you.
We also offer employees wellbeing support through our own Employee Support resilience coaching service and online tools, plus signposting to external support services. From Autumn 2016, we'll offer 24-hour access to a counselling and legal helpline.
Training and development
When you first join us, you'll have an extensive induction followed by structured training and support to ensure that you feel confident in your role. You'll have regular one-to-ones with your manager to discuss your career aspirations, and we’ll work with you to identify learning needs and develop your Individual Learning Plan.
You'll have access to our in-house training programme and also a range of external initiatives. You’ll also be encouraged to take up a wide range of development opportunities and expand your experience and knowledge, such as our Expert Practitioner and Step Up Step In schemes. All staff have access to our qualified in-house coaches.
We’ll do what we can to support you in studying for diplomas, professional qualifications, and certificates relevant to your role in order to help your continued learning.
