Brandon Trust has been chosen as Cabot Circus’ charity of the year and is now looking forward to working in fundraising partnership with the Bristol city shopping centre.
The charity is planning a full calendar of events at the venue over the next 12 months including bucket collecting, strawberry selling during the Wimbledon tennis tournament, and Christmas choir singing.
Cabot Centre Director Stephanie Lacey explained: "We're really excited to announce our partnership with Brandon Trust. Each year at Cabot Circus, we decide which local charity we'd like to support and put all our efforts behind. We feel Brandon Trust is a highly worthy cause, supporting people with learning disabilities. The work they do is really important for the future of care in this field. We're proud to be supporting them and encourage everyone to head down to the centre and show their support for all upcoming fundraising activities."
Director of Fundraising Audrey Michel said: "We're absolutely delighted to be working with the management and customers of Cabot Circus throughout this year. Together we can achieve real change for the lives of people with learning disabilities living in Bristol."
