A new look for Brandon
Today, we launch our brand new, modern logo. It has been updated following consultation with staff and people we support. The strapline now reads ‘Live free’ to reflect our charity’s new brand value of freedom. It's being rolled out across the organisation from Thursday, 2 April.
Over our 20th anniversary year, we've taken the opportunity to reconsider just what makes us tick and drives us forward as an organisation. This took the form of a highly stimulating organisation-wide conversation. The message that emerged loud and clear was that we are passionate about freedom for ourselves, those we love and, most importantly, for those we support. This fundamental right is all too often something that people with learning disabilities and autism fail to experience.
At Brandon we strive to ensure those we work with are able to make choices, have their say, and get on with the lives they aspire to lead. In other words, as far as possible, they are not held back by society's limited expectations or many of the barriers that their disabilities can impose.
Our new logo comprises different coloured stripes to represent the many different stories of those we support. It summarises our mantra 'Live free' and it clarifies that we are a learning disability charity now growing into maturity. We believe that it captures our vibrancy, optimism, sense of fun and life.
