Brilliant day for Brandon at Quakers Friars
We want to say a big thank you to everyone that came down and supported the 'Brandon Trust takes over Quakers Friars' event on Saturday, 17 September.
It was a brilliant day and a massive success with stalls from Brandon social enterprises selling their wares, bucket collections throughout Cabot Circus, a luxury raffle (congratulations to the winners), and a fantastic performance from Bristol choir Riff Raff.
It was an excellent opportunity to spread the Brandon message and to raise vital funds. We raised an incredible £1,043 in total.
Jack Newcombe, Corporate Fundraiser said: "Wow, what a fantastic day. I’d like to thank the staff at Cabot Circus, the Brandon volunteers, and all of our social enterprises, for coming out and helping to make this event a massive success. The day wouldn't have happened without your help, so thank you. It was great to spread awareness of learning disabilities, and to raise £1,043 was a great effort and will make a huge difference to the people we support."
Cabot Circus’ Marketing Manager Mel Bruce-Roberts said: "The support shown is heartwarming; people buying raffle tickets or just adding to the collection buckets. It’s an extremely worthwhile charity and we’re proud to be helping raise not just funds, but awareness too."
