We're CQC-rated Good or Outstanding across the board!
We’re absolutely delighted to share the news that all our ratings from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), who check the quality of support we provide to people, are now Good or Outstanding.
Our Chief Executive, Sue Porto, explained why this is such a significant achievement for us:
“It’s great to see that all Brandon’s CQC ratings for the support we provide to people are now either Good or Outstanding. The result highlights the positive impact of our person-centred approach, and our commitment to enabling the people we support to live the lives they choose.”
“These fantastic ratings have been achieved through the hard work and dedication of our passionate and creative teams, both those supporting people and those supporting staff. We would like to say a huge thank you to each and every one of them for the amazing work they do and the commitment they demonstrate.”
Two of the most recent services to be inspected by CQC were Wiltshire Supported Living and Bristol & North Somerset Supported Living. Both achieved an overall Good rating, with Wiltshire getting an Outstanding in the ‘Is the service caring?’ category… amazing results for everyone involved!
The CQC report for our Wiltshire Supported Living service is available on the CQC website, and is full of well-earned recognition: “People and staff were relaxed and enjoyed being in each other's company which showed they had developed close and trusting relationships.”
Also filled with fantastic comments and observations, the report for Bristol & North Somerset Supported Living, explains: “We saw lots of positive interactions between people and staff throughout our inspection. Staff had a clear understanding of how people expressed their needs. People’s support plans contained comprehensive, person centred information about people’s individual health and support needs.”
