I was invited to attend the opening night of Brandon’s London 20 photographic exhibition on Tuesday and seeing my picture and story displayed in the gallery made me very proud and pleased.
I shared the whole experience with my family so we managed some sightseeing ahead of the opening night launch at the Oxo Tower venue by the River Thames. We saw Big Ben and Buckingham Palace.
Being part of the London launch night helped grow my confidence and was an opportunity I’m glad I took. During the evening, I spoke to different people about my picture and story and had many pictures taken which was exciting.
Summing up the whole evening, I would say I really enjoyed it. It was a great day for me and my family.
I am now back at @Worle, where I work in the café and also with the Grounds and Gardens team, and have been telling everyone about my trip.

Reece Wheatley’s 20 story
Reece loves vehicles and has always wanted to find a job as a mechanic.
Six months ago he worked with us to find an opportunity for work experience in a local garage and was given a chance by one business.
In that time, he has proved his ability, learnt new skills and is now 'part of the team'.
Reece hopes the placement will lead to a paid job in the future.
Support worker Kelly Deakin said: “Reece was a very quiet and reserved young man, however since being at the garage he has become very confident and he talks to all the customers.
"The garage really loves his presence, he is part of the team, and they have now said they would be willing to have him stay longer on a voluntary basis to enable him to gain more skills in the trade."
