Shop with Brandon Trust
With the rising cost of brand-new items and the catastrophic environmental effects of fast fashion, we are proud to provide a boutique shopping experience which is more affordable and kinder to the world.
In addition, every second-hand item you purchase or donate, benefits children, young people, and adults with learning disabilities and/or autism – and some of the products we stock have been made by people with support in our social enterprises.
Charity shops
Our high street and online shops are curated, so finding your newest preloved piece can be effortless. Whether you’re a vintage clothing collector, a high street fanatic, or you just love bagging a bargain, we have something for everyone.
Brandon Trust has four charity shops on high streets across Bristol, and one in Chipping Sodbury. You can also shop at Elm Tree Farm in Bristol and buy our handcrafted pottery and ceramics at our potteries and cafes, and online at Brandon’s Etsy and eBay stores.

Thank you so much for supporting Brandon by shopping with us!
Meet the Brandon eBay team
Based above our Gloucester Road charity shop, our eBay team sort and process sales of specialist and niche items donated to our shops.
Our eBay team employs autistic people and people with learning disabilities.
The video below offers an overview of the Brandon eBay team at work, talking about the importance of supported employment.
Our charity shops are sustainability led. We believe that clothing and unwanted items can be loved again and again. We are committed to improving our sustainability credentials, both behind the scenes and on the shop floor, and reducing our environmental impact as much as we can.
We rely on your donations of quality clothing, shoes, accessories, handbags, and jewellry, as well as good quality homeware, collectables, and curiosities.
Our commitment to our supporters is to make the most of their donations through research and accurate pricing. Don’t forget that you can Gift Aid your donations too which means we can increase the value of your gift by 25%. Please ask in-store for details.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept the following items in most of our shops:
- bulky items incl. furniture
- white goods
- electrical items
- prams and car seats
- baby bouncers
- duvets and pillows
- bicycles
- cleaning products
- paint and varnishes
Please speak to a member of staff when dropping off donations, and never leave your donations outside our shops.
If you are a local business or a national chain, we will gratefully accept donations of good quality stock. This can be anything from samples to seconds, customer returns, or previous seasons’ stock. Please contact one of our shops.
As well as donated goods, we also sell a range of beautiful, handcrafted gifts made by autistic people and people with learning disabilities at Brandon social enterprises including, Banwell Pottery, Fired Up Ceramics, and Splinters Workshop which is based at Elm Tree Farm.
We employ people with learning disabilities and/or autism in all our stores. Their salaries are paid entirely from the income of our shops and enterprises (another reason to shop with us).
In addition, every item sold in our online stores is processed, packaged, and posted by one of our supported employees.
Farm shop
The shop at Elm Tree Farm, in Stapleton, Bristol, stocks everything you need for a delicious, locally sourced meal, as well as a range of seasonal items and gifts.
Stock includes fruit and vegetables grown organically on site and we support other local organic growers to stock additional fruit and veg. For the more adventurous cooks, we also sell fresh herbs grown in our nursery.
We have a range of frozen meat, with all the livestock raised using the RSPCA ‘Five Freedoms’ principles, and all beef stock is grass reared. Sausages and free-range eggs are also available.
To top it off, we also sell a range of seasonal chutneys, jams, and juices, all lovingly made using seasonal produce.
For the house and garden, the shops sell edible and ornamental plants, seasonal fresh flowers, and a range of dry stock products. There are also bird boxes and tables, insect hotels, wooden planters, and some wooden gift items made by the Splinters team, as well as bags of kindling and logs to keep you warm through winter. Splinters also up-cycles wooden furniture and makes high-end wooden items to order.
The farm shop is open:
- Tuesday – Saturday, 10am – 5pm
- Sunday – Monday CLOSED
Car parking is available on the farm site.
