Why shop with Brandon Trust?

At Brandon Trust, shopping is more than a transaction – it’s a meaningful act of support, sustainability, and social change. In today’s climate, where the cost of living continues to rise and the environmental toll of mass production grows heavier, we offer a refreshing alternative: a boutique shopping experience that’s both budget-friendly and ethically grounded.

A conscious choice for you and the planet

Our shops are filled with carefully curated second-hand items, unique finds, and handmade goods that tell a story. By choosing pre-loved clothing, homeware, books, and gifts, you’re helping to reduce landfill waste, conserve resources, and slow the demand for fast fashion. It’s a small change with a big impact – and one that aligns with a more thoughtful, eco-conscious lifestyle.

Enabling people through enterprise

Every item you purchase or donate, contributes directly to our mission of supporting autistic people and people with learning disabilities. Many of the products on our shelves – from pottery to wood-based gifts – are crafted by people working in our social enterprises. These are not just beautiful items; they are symbols of creativity, skill-building, and personal achievement.

Community at the heart of retail

Shopping with Brandon Trust means joining a community that values inclusion, dignity, and opportunity. Our stores are welcoming spaces where people of all abilities work side by side, gaining confidence, learning new skills, and earning an income. Your support helps sustain these opportunities and ensures that our shops remain vibrant hubs of connection and purpose.

Farm shop

The shop at Elm Tree Farm, in Stapleton, Bristol, stocks everything you need for a delicious, locally sourced meal, as well as a range of seasonal items and gifts.

Stock includes fruit and vegetables grown organically on site and we support other local organic growers to stock additional fruit and veg. For the more adventurous cooks, we also sell fresh herbs grown in our nursery.

We have a range of frozen meat, with all the livestock raised using the RSPCA ‘Five Freedoms’ principles, and all beef stock is grass reared. Sausages and free-range eggs are also available.

To top it off, we also sell a range of seasonal chutneys, jams, and juices, all lovingly made using seasonal produce.

For the house and garden, the shops sell edible and ornamental plants, seasonal fresh flowers, and a range of dry stock products. There are also bird boxes and tables, insect hotels, wooden planters, and some wooden gift items made by the Splinters team, as well as bags of kindling and logs to keep you warm through winter.  Splinters also up-cycles wooden furniture and makes high-end wooden items to order.

The farm shop is open:

  • Tuesday – Saturday, 10am – 5pm
  • Sunday – Monday CLOSED
