Celebrating World Book Day with free books

On Thursday 3 March, World Book Day is celebrating its 25-year anniversary. The campaign aims to change lives through a love of books and shared reading. It also aims to encourage the next generation of readers to read for pleasure.

Created by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, more than 100 countries around the globe get involved in World Book Day.

Buy one, get one free

Our three Bristol charity shops are taking part in the celebrations by offering a buy one, get one free deal, on all books. The promotion will run throughout the whole of March, across the entire range, from fiction to cookery books, hobby books to children’s books.

The theme for this year’s World Book Day is ‘You are a reader,’ and we have a brilliant selection of books from all genres to interest everyone.
