Every Day is Different

Today, the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), launched a national adult social care recruitment campaign, which we’re proud to support.

The campaign aims to drive a new generation of people to consider and apply for a job in adult social care. It's called 'Every day is different when you work in social care’' and aims to:

  • Raise awareness of the variety of jobs and opportunities available
  • Challenge what people think about working in the sector
  • Increase consideration and intention amongst individuals with the right values who might be looking for a new challenge

The campaign is focussed on raising awareness that working in social care can be rewarding, varied and worthwhile – something we already know! Over the coming weeks you'll see it featured on radio, posters, across social media, and online. There's also a dedicated Facebook page and the Every Day is Different website, where you can explore the different job roles and take a quick quiz to find out whether a career in social care could be right for you.

If you already work for us, you can help by sharing these resources with your friends and family. Some of our best recruits are referred to us by our own staff because they know people who have the right values and skills to support people with a learning disability or autism.
