She started her career as a music therapist and has a particular passion for working in the field of learning disability, autism and mental health. She is an experienced strategic director and CEO and has served as a Trustee, Vice-Chair and Chair on charity boards for the last eight years.
Helen said: “It is a huge privilege to be joining Brandon. This organisation is a key player in the social care sector, and I am already aware of the determination everyone at Brandon shares to see us go from strength to strength in delivering our vision of a world where people of different abilities truly belong.
“I am excited to have this opportunity and I look forward to seeing everything that we can achieve together over the coming months.”
Helen is committed to working with the Board and all staff and stakeholders to support the delivery of our services and the development of this organisation over the coming months. As a charity, we are determined to work with our peer providers in the sector to tackle the challenges facing social care and to protect the work that we are proud of, creating opportunities for the people we support to live the life they choose.
