Let's get growing

Plants growing in a polytunnel at Elm Tree FarmA few weeks ago we visited one of our social enterprises, Elm Tree Farm in Bristol.

As well as being a working care farm, there are lots of other things going on including a wood workshop where they make all sorts of wooden items including bird tables, bug hotels, and garden furniture, and a grounds and gardens maintenance service which specialise in garden makeovers.

Our visit was just prior to National Gardening Week (30 April-6 May) and we couldn't resist meeting some of the gardeners who work in the plant nursery and market garden. As you can see in the video, it's clear how much joy gardening brings them!

Don't forget you can buy their fresh produce at the farm shop on site and at St Nicholas Farmers' Market on Corn Street, Bristol, on Wednesdays.
