Breaking the bias

Happy International Women’s Day! The theme for 2022 is Break The Bias, which is something we aim to do every day for the people we support at Brandon.

We asked Kate about the biases she has experienced as a woman with a disability, and what being able to enjoy the same opportunities as everyone else means to her.

Unfortunately there was a technical issue when we recorded this video, which is why Kate is not fully visible, but what she has to say is so important that we didn’t want to let that stop us from sharing it.
