Vanguard Self Storage get on their bikes to support Brandon
A team of cyclists from Vanguard Self Storage in Bristol are taking on a 50-mile cycle challenge in support of Brandon.
The team, led by Lakhvinder Singh and Paul Robson, will be taking on their challenge on the cycle paths between Bristol and Trowbridge in early September.
Personal reasons
Both Lakhvinder and Paul have personal reasons for taking on this challenge. For Lakhvinder, who has family a member who attends our Playlink scheme, Brandon was an obvious choice when looking for a charity to support. He explained:
"Brandon's play schemes have been a fantastic support and give my family some much-needed respite. This particular service has been so rewarding and I wanted to show my support and make a difference so Brandon can support other families like my own."
Paul is an uncle to four young adults who have autism. He told us:
"They are adults now and have all benefited from Brandon’s services in the past and continue to do so now. They are starting to look for employment and Brandon has been so supportive in this. One of my nephews will be taking part in the ride.
"We are proud to work for Vanguard and they actively encourage us to get involved with local charities. We are hoping to recruit more of the Vanguard team as well as some of our business neighbours, contacts, and head office team, so Vanguard really have been with us every step of the way."
