Brandon’s Board of Trustees are delighted to confirm that Helen England has been appointed Chief Executive following an extensive review process involving staff and people we support.
Helen, who has worked in health and social care for more than thirty years, was appointed Interim Chief Executive at Brandon in January 2023.
Chair of the Board of Trustees, Mark Stupples, said:
“We are delighted to be able to confirm Helen’s appointment as Chief Executive of Brandon. Helen joined us as Interim Chief Executive earlier this year and has already had a very positive impact engaging with people across Brandon and beyond to deliver our strategic ambitions.
“She has brought huge experience and enthusiasm to the role and has embraced our inclusive and collaborative culture, while demonstrating her strong commitment to our vision and values.
“Before the appointment, we carried out a thorough review process, involving staff throughout the organisation and a discussion with people we support who work in paid co-production roles in our Adventurers group.
“We are confident Helen is the right leader to take us forward and we will continue to support her to deliver an exceptional future for everyone at Brandon.”
Helen said:
“In the six months since I arrived at Brandon, I have seen time and time again the amazing impact Brandon’s care and support services and enterprise projects have on the people we support and the communities we serve.
“Brandon has an inspiring vision for the future, and I am over the moon to have the opportunity to lead us forward so we can collaborate on making that vision a reality.”
