Charity shops
Brandon Trust has four charity shops on high streets across Bristol, and one in Chipping Sodbury. You can also shop online at Brandon’s eBay, Depop, and Vinted stores.
For the latest news and finds, please follow us on Instagram.
With the rising cost of brand-new items and the catastrophic environmental effects of fast fashion, we are proud to provide a boutique shopping experience which is more affordable and kinder to the world.
In addition, every second-hand item you purchase or donate, benefits children, young people, and adults with learning disabilities and autism.
Our shops are curated, so finding your newest preloved piece can be effortless. Whether you’re a vintage clothing collector, a high street fanatic, or you just love bagging a bargain, we have something for everyone.
Sustainability
Our charity shops are sustainability led. We believe that clothing and unwanted items can be loved again and again. We are committed to improving our sustainability credentials, both behind the scenes and on the shop floor, and reducing our environmental impact as much as we can.
Employment opportunities for everyone
Our charity’s values are at our core. We have colleagues with learning disabilities and autism working in all our stores. Their salaries are paid entirely from the income of our shops (another reason to shop with us).
Every item sold in our online store is processed, packaged, and posted by one of our supported employees. If you are interested in working for us, please keep an eye on the jobs section of our website.
'Handmade by us'
As well as donated goods, we also sell a range of beautiful, handcrafted gifts made by people with learning disabilities and autism at Brandon social enterprises including, Banwell Pottery, Fired Up Ceramics, and Splinters Workshop which is based at Elm Tree Farm. Please check out our Enterprise section when you shop with us!
Volunteers
Brandon shops offer volunteers a rewarding, creative, and supportive environment, and the chance to develop new skills.
If you’re interested in fashion and charity retail, committed to the environment, and want to help people with learning disabilities and autism, or simply want to take part in your local community, please register your interest by completing our volunteer form.
Your donations
We rely on your donations of good quality clothing, shoes, accessories, handbags, and jewellery, as well as good quality homeware, collectables, and curiosities. Our commitment to our supporters, is to make the most of their donations through research and accurate pricing.
Don’t forget that you can Gift Aid your donations too which means we can increase the value of your gift by 25%. Please ask in store for details.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept the following items in most of our shops:
- bulky items incl. furniture
- white goods
- electrical items
- prams and car seats
- baby bouncers
- duvets and pillows (and more)
Please speak to a member of staff when dropping off donations, and never leave your donations outside our shops.
Corporate donations
If you are a local business or a national chain, we will gratefully accept donations of good quality stock – this can be anything from samples to seconds, customer returns, or previous seasons’ stock. Please get in touch with one of our shops.
Refund policy
Have you bought something in our shops and need to return it? Please read our Refund Policy first before heading to the store.
Thank you so much for supporting Brandon - it means a lot to us!
