Wellbeing & work life balance
Flexible working: Our frontline roles involve working flexible shifts. We understand different people have different lifestyles and commitments and we'll be as responsive as we can to each person's circumstances.
As well as offering full-time, part-time, and casual contracts, some roles are also available on weekend-only contracts, nights-only contracts - perfect for people working around family responsibilities, or 'out of term-time' contracts - perfect for students looking for holiday jobs.
Wellbeing helpline: All staff have direct access to round-the-clock support from both our dedicated counselling and legal helpline and our GP and prescription service.
Mental health support: As a Time To Change (TTC) employer we have signed a pledge to a national campaign to demonstrate our commitment to change how we think and act about mental health in the workplace. As part of this commitment we offer employees wellbeing support through our own mental health first aiders, Time to Change champions, employee support resilience coaching service, employee assistance line and online wellbeing portal.
Health cash plan: We provide discounted membership of the BHSF health cash plan, for staff and their families, this provides funding for medical expenses including dental/optical bills, and personal injury insurance.
Occupational health support: If health issues affect you at work, we offer medical advice and support through our Occupational Health Service.
