Children's playlink

Childrens Playlink

We offer holiday play schemes to approximately 200 disabled children and young people. The schemes run in Yate, Bradley Stoke, Staple Hill, and Thornbury.

Running during Easter, Summer, October, and February school holidays, they provide respite for parents and carers, and offer a setting where children can enjoy fun activities.

Our teenage workshops provide opportunities for teenagers to engage in interesting age-appropriate activities.

The buddy scheme supports youngsters with disabilities to attend mainstream play or leisure activities in the local community. It aims to provide new experiences, promote friendships, encourage a sense of independence, and improve self-confidence.

Play workers

Our play workers are responsible for encouraging participation in activities for children and young people with disabilities on a 1:1 ratio.

We're currently recruiting casual play workers and buddy play workers. For more information, please visit Being a play worker.

Transition to adulthood

When the young person reaches adulthood, Brandon can continue to provide support. For more information, please visit the Find support section of our website.
