Chipping Sodbury charity shop grand opening posterBrandon Trust is opening its fifth charity shop on Thursday 13 July, in Chipping Sodbury.

Following on from the success of the North Street store in Bedminster which opened in November 2022, the Brandon Enterprise Team is proud to be offering this exciting new retail experience in the beautiful town of Chipping Sodbury.

Not your average charity shop

With an array of high quality, preloved items and vintage accessories, Chipping Sodbury looks to be the new hub for those who have a passion for sustainable fashion! With a boutique feel, this is not your average charity shop.

Unique handcrafted items

Brandon social enterprises offer training and supported employment opportunities for people with learning disabilities and autism. The enterprises enable people to enhance their skills and enjoy meaningful paid employment.

A range of handcrafted products from Brandon social enterprisesIn our new shop, you will be able to purchase an array of beautiful, handcrafted gifts from some of our enterprises including ceramics from Fired Up and Banwell Pottery, and unique wooden items from Splinters workshop which is based at Elm Tree Farm.

The perfect location

Enterprise and Retail Business Development Manager, Jo Cullum, who has lived in Chipping Sodbury for many years, said: “I am really excited about this new shop. It feels like the perfect location.

"The community has been so supportive and welcoming. We have a fantastic team ready to greet customers and share the great work Brandon does.” 

Join us at the launch

Everyone is welcome to come and join us on Thursday 13 July from 1pm. You'll find us at the bottom of Chipping Sodbury High Street and we will be celebrating our new venture with live music and lots of fun.

Items to donate?

We are always happy to receive good quality donations. You can bring them to the shop on opening day, or you can take your items to one of our other donation drop off points across Bristol. You’ll find all the information on our charity shops page.
